This blog describes everything about Splitters and General Splitters in SAP CPI. The general splitter has several options, which we will review in detail here with an easy example.

Splitters: A splitter allows us to break the message into smaller parts which can be processed independently.

General Splitter: The general splitter splits a composite message into N individual messages, which can be processed independently.

Steps are as follows:

1: Add content modifier connecting to the start timer.

2: Click on the content modifier and give the message body details.

3: Add a general splitter connecting to the content modifier.

4: Click on the general splitter and give processing details.

5: Click on save and deploy.
