The Sahastratal Trek is a beautiful and lesser known adventure in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Spread across 9 days and covering around 65 kilometers this trek takes you deep into high altitude alpine zones where peace and natural beauty surround you at every step.

Sahastratal which means the lake of a thousand lakes sits at an altitude of over 15000 feet and remains frozen for most of the year. It is considered sacred by locals and is one of the highest glacial lakes in the region. The trail offers stunning views of major peaks like Bandarpunch Black Peak and the Gangotri range.
