Moulding Parts Systems Asst Manager QMS
Job Description
Our plastics manufacturing division's principal "Documentation Anchor" and "Regulatory Framework Guardian" is the Assistant Manager-Quality Management System (QMS). Your main responsibility is to create, maintain, audit, and strengthen the entire architectural framework of our quality documentation, process procedures, and international compliance standards, while production teams concentrate on managing moulding cycle times and line-level quality control engineers check dimensional variations with callipers. This includes overseeing extensive document change control layers, organising standard operating procedures, directing preventative and corrective measures, getting the plant ready for critical customer evaluations, and leading internal audit initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Implementation & Maintenance of QMS Architecture: Construct, improve, and oversee the plant's overall quality management system, making sure that it is fully and continuously aligned with important standards like ISO or IATF.
Lead the document control center and ensure that all injection moulding, work instructions, process parameter logs, and tool maintenance charts are distributed, authorised, and numbered in a methodical manner.
CAPA Coordination & Root-Cause Governance: Oversee the plant's corrective action system and make sure that strict problem-solving techniques (such as 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone analyses) are used to address non-conformances found during external, internal, or customer audits.
Execution of Internal Audits and Team Building: Plan, coordinate, and carry out recurring internal process and product audit programs. Educate internal cross-functional audit teams to assess metrology labs, raw material storage, and moulding parameters.

Skills:
Advanced QMS Framework Literacy: Comprehensive, useful knowledge of automotive core tools, ISO, and IATF.
Context of the Plastics Manufacturing Process: Extensive knowledge of shrinkage parameters, tooling validation techniques, injection moulding terminology, and the relationship between physical faults and process control records.
Strict Root-Cause Verification & CAPA Tracking: Skilled ability to differentiate genuine systemic root causes from superficial symptoms, promoting accountability for long-term action items within engineering teams.
Audit Navigation & Professional Presentation: Excellent confidence in answering difficult auditor enquiries, managing intricate audit deadlines, and clearly conveying compliance metrics to business executives.
