Job Description
Who you are:
Use technical engineering drawings, inspection plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct thorough incoming (IQC), in-process (IPQC), and final quality (FQA) inspections. Use optical comparators, surface roughness testers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, Vernier callipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Verify location, orientation, profile, and runout specifications by interpreting intricate engineering drawings and using the concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Identify physical flaws, tag and quarantine non-conforming materials right away, create non-conformance reports, and support physical root-cause investigations as part of non-conformance isolation and material containment. Keep track of gauge calibration logs, conduct regular gauge inspections, and take part in studies on gauge repeatability and reproducibility as well as measurement system analysis.
