Job Description
Who you are:
Oversee, assign, and manage testing operators, line auditors, and shift quality inspectors; make sure all production lines are fully covered; and cultivate a culture of safety and quality discipline. Conduct routine hourly patrol inspections along production lines, sign off on line clearance, and complete and approve 'First-Off' sample inspections prior to the start of mass production. Enforce defect containment procedures, tag questionable lots, stop non-conforming parts from going downstream, and immediately halt production lines upon discovering key quality non-conformances. Examine operator compliance with shop-floor 5S quality standards, boundary samples, visual defect limit samples, line control plans and standard inspection instructions across shifts.
