We are hiring Medical Records Analyst is responsible for gathering, interpreting, and managing patient healthcare data to ensure records are accurate, secure, and compliant with legal and medical standards. They bridge the gap between patient care, administration, and technology by auditing records, identifying data discrepancies, and extracting valuable insights that improve healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Record Review & Auditing: Validate patient files for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify missing documentation, inconsistencies, or incomplete entries and coordinate with medical staff to resolve them.Medical Coding & Transcription: Translate complex clinical statements, diagnoses, and procedures into standardized alphanumeric codes (e.g., ICD-10, CPT) for accurate billing, insurance reimbursements, and health statistics.Data Management & Digitization: Organize and structure both paper-based and digital health records. Use Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to process, digitize, and maintain patient demographics, charts, and treatment plans.Compliance & Privacy: Protect patient confidentiality by ensuring records comply with healthcare privacy regulations like HIPAA and GDPR.Reporting & Analysis: Compile data to create reports, graphical timelines, and summaries for internal clinical use, legal teams, or insurance purposes.
