We are Hiring Maintenance Assistant in Chennai

Job Description:

We are looking for Maintenance Assistants to manage daily building operations and ensure smooth facility maintenance. The role includes inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, carpentry, painting, and upkeep of electrical, plumbing, and AC systems. Assistants will also maintain records, respond to emergency maintenance requests, and support general facility upkeep.

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant (2 Vacancies)
Location: Chennai
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000
Shift: Day & Night Shift (Preferred)
Eligibility: Diploma / Freshers (Willingness to get trained is essential)

Responsibilities:

Inspect and troubleshoot potential hazards or faults

Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical fixtures, ACs, and other components

Handle carpentry tasks and painting touch-ups

Maintain and repair facility appliances

Conduct general cleaning, grounds maintenance, and fixture assembly/removal

Ensure safety compliance and perform regular safety checks

Maintain logs of maintenance work, equipment status, and hazards

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical aptitude for basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Awareness of safety protocols and procedures
