Job Description

A CNC Machine Operator is responsible for running and monitoring Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications.

Educational Qualification :
• 10th, 12th, Diploma, ITI / Diploma .
• On-the-job training is often provided for freshers.

Salary : 15k to 20k Based on Experience

Location : Chennai

Experience : 0 to 3 Years


Key Responsibilities :
• Machine Setup
• Prepare the CNC machine for operation by installing tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load the correct program into the CNC control panel.
• Operation
• Operate CNC machines (like milling, turning, drilling, or grinding machines).
• Monitor the machining process to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Quality Control
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Ensure products meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Maintenance
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Report any faults or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Safety
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines.

Skills Required :
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code).
• Understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Precision measurement skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
