Virtual autism refers to developmental delays and behavioural changes seen in young children due to excessive screen exposure during early childhood. When a child spends long hours with mobiles, tablets, or TVs instead of real-life interaction, it can lead to reduced eye contact, poor social skills, delayed speech, hyperactivity, and emotional instability. These symptoms often resemble autism but are primarily triggered by limited human engagement.
