This approved online training program contains shoulder physiotherapy strategies designed to prevent injuries both in athletes and the general population. The therapists will learn to assess risks of injury, determines movement patterns & screens, learns postural correction setup & strategies, and learns neuromuscular training protocols for reducing occurrences of shoulder injuries. The content includes preventive exercise programs in the areas of reinforcement of the rotator cuff, scapular stability, and replenishing kinetic chain patterns. Also, there are additional sections regarding ergonomic advice for reducing injuries at work, and return to sport readiness programs that will reduce overuse injuries. Video demonstrations and educational lectures of experts in the appropriate roles will provide a practical direction for applying the preventative strategies in the clinical action settings. This course is an optimal choice for therapists, sports therapists, or trainers who wish to include injury prevention programs into their rehabilitation and performance models.
