Over the decades, the organization has been at the forefront of disaster response, offering aid during events such as the Panshet Dam flood in 1961, the Marathwada earthquake in 1993, and the Gujarat earthquake in 2001. Their efforts encompass providing essential supplies, medical assistance, and facilitating rehabilitation projects. For instance, following the 1993 Marathwada earthquake, Sakal Relief Fund collected ₹12.8 million to renovate seven schools and construct hostels for affected children.
