Your Duties:
Shift Quality Leadership & Team Supervision: Oversee, assign, and manage shift quality inspectors, line auditors, and testing operators; make sure all production lines are fully covered; and promote a culture of safety and quality discipline.
First-Off/Patrol Inspection & Line Clearance: Conduct routine hourly patrol inspections along production lines, sign off on line clearance, and conduct and approve 'First-Off' sample inspections prior to the start of mass production.
Real-Time Defect Containment & Line Stop Authority: Enforce defect containment procedures, tag questionable lots, stop non-conforming parts from going downstream, and immediately halt production lines upon identifying key quality non-conformances.
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) & Control Plan Audit: During shifts, check that operators are following line control plans, standard inspection guidelines, boundary samples, visual defect limit samples, and shop-floor 5S quality requirements.
