Often referred to as a hold ticket, it is a dummy ticket. In other words, similar to a standard airplane ticket. A dummy ticket contains the itinerary, trip date, passenger name, contact details, and current passenger number. The traveler receives a PDF as their deliverable. Dummy tickets are available for around INR 800 or $10. It is not possible to create a dummy ticket online for free. It is illegal for any travel operator to give away a dummy air ticket created using Microsoft Office or any other editing software.
