Description
Kerone Research & Development Centre (KRDC) is an industrial research and process development facility focused on helping businesses explore, test, and develop thermal and material processing solutions. We provide an environment where industrial ideas can be investigated through laboratory experiments and pilot-scale trials before progressing toward larger-scale implementation.
Our research activities focus on understanding how materials respond to different processing conditions and technologies. Through systematic experimentation, KRDC helps industries investigate important process variables such as temperature, moisture reduction, residence time, airflow, pressure, and energy input, depending on the technology and application being studied.
KRDC supports research and development across industrial drying, heating, dehydration, thermal treatment, powder processing, and selected material transformation applications. Our technology capabilities include microwave and radio frequency processing, infrared heating, spray drying, freeze drying, vacuum drying, heat pump drying, fluidized bed processing, and other thermal processing approaches.
An objective of KRDC is to bridge the gap between an initial process concept and practical industrial development. Laboratory and pilot-scale trials can provide useful technical information before companies consider further engineering or commercial-scale investment.
Whether an organization is developing a new product, exploring an alternative processing technology, or improving an existing operation, Kerone Research provides a structured platform for experimentation and process investigation.
At KRDC, research is focused on practical industrial challenges. By combining testing facilities, pilot-scale equipment, and process engineering knowledge, we help transform ideas into experimentally evaluated processes that can form the foundation for further development.
