Responsibilities:
Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Execution: Apply predictive condition monitoring and planned preventive maintenance procedures to all plant equipment and utility assets.
Electro-Mechanical & PLC Troubleshooting: During operational shifts, oversee real-time breakdown response by identifying and fixing intricate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC/SCADA fault codes on automated production lines.
Utility & Infrastructure Operations: Manage the regular maintenance and performance evaluation of central plant utilities, such as water treatment facilities, diesel generators, steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and industrial air compressors.
Root Cause Failure Analysis: After significant machinery failures, carry out comprehensive failure investigations utilising the Fishbone and 5-Why frameworks, putting in place long-term remedial measures to stop such failures.
Spare Parts Inventory & Asset Management: Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems to manage asset records, arrange component reordering locations, and maintain essential machine spare parts stock levels.

Required Skills:
Strong practical skills in reading electrical diagrams, troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider), VFDs, relays, sensors, and three-phase motor circuits are all part of industrial automation, electrical, and drive systems.
Industrial pumps, gearboxes, bearings, mechanical drives, hydraulic valves, pneumatic actuators, and power transmission assemblies are all serviced by mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic engineers.
Maintenance of Utility and Thermal Systems: The ability to maintain plant utility networks, which include water pumps, boilers, air compressors, refrigeration chillers, and piping circuits.
CMMS Tooling & Root Cause Analysis: practical experience using 8D/5-Why problem-solving tools and utilising CMMS platforms (local asset software, Maximo, or SAP PM).
