Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Purchase Head to manage all procurement activities and lead the purchasing team in a manufacturing setup. The candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing raw materials, vendor negotiation, cost control, and supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process

Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts

Ensure timely delivery of quality materials

Collaborate with production and inventory teams

Monitor purchase budgets and cost-saving strategies

Maintain records and ensure policy compliance

Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain practices

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel

Leadership and decision-making ability

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in Supply Chain or related field

10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry

Location: Chennai

Salary: 85k to 95k per month
