Job Description:
Our software engineering team's main "Backend Logic Anchor" and "System Scalability Guardian" is the Java Developer. Your main responsibility is to design, build, optimise, and maintain the server-side applications, RESTful microservices, core business logic modules, and database integrations that power our enterprise applications, while front-end developers concentrate on user experience interfaces and system administrators manage cloud hosting infrastructure. This includes creating clear, object-oriented Java code, putting in place reliable data persistence layers, designing processes for asynchronous event processing, and creating thorough frameworks for unit and integration testing.

Key Skills:
Java Ecosystem & Framework Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the Spring Boot ecosystem and fundamental Java principles (Multithreading, Memory Model, Collections API, Stream API, Generics).
RESTful API & Distributed Service Architecture: In-depth knowledge of microservices patterns, API gateways, and the architecture, documentation, and security of RESTful Web Services (OpenAPI/Swagger).
Database Management & ORM Mastery: Excellent proficiency in creating intricate SQL queries, handling database migrations (Flyway/Liquibase), optimising index utilisation, and configuring JPA/Hibernate.
Distributed Systems & Cloud-Native Tools: Firsthand knowledge of distributed caching techniques, container orchestration, and containerisation.
