Candidates for admission to a variety of undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and other certification-related programs take the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), now known as the Common Universities Entrance Test, administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It takes place in 45 Central Universities in India, where the candidates are evaluated unbiasedly and using the same platform. It's a common exam that allows candidates to demonstrate their subject-matter expertise and knowledge from all around India. This test is mostly administered to students who have been admitted into undergraduate programs, under the supervision of the Undergraduate Commission (UGC). To provide candidates with a sense of equality, "One India, One Examination" is the first national aim that needs to be achieved.
