Job Description:
The key 'Technical HVAC System & Environmental Control Anchor' for our field operations and facility maintenance teams is the HVAC Technician Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Preventative Maintenance. Your main responsibility is to inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial and residential HVAC/R systems, including chillers, air handlers, split systems, heat pumps, boilers, and refrigeration units, while dispatchers handle service scheduling and chief engineers oversee overall plant infrastructure. As the "Guardian of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), System Efficiency, Equipment Longevity, EPA Compliance, and Zero Unplanned Downtime," you assume direct responsibility for maintaining the safe, dependable, and effective operation of climate control systems.

Key Skills:
HVAC/R Technical Diagnostics & Electrical Literacy: In-depth knowledge of motor controls, low-voltage control circuits, electrical schematics, psychrometrics, refrigeration cycles, and single/three-phase power systems.
Proficiency with Tools and Diagnostic Equipment: Practical knowledge of digital manifold gauges, multimeter/clamp meters, vacuum pumps, refrigerant recovery devices, leak detectors, anemometers and psychrometers.
Environmental Compliance & Refrigerant Handling: Extensive understanding of EPA rules, safe recovery/reclaim practices, pressure testing, and leak mitigation techniques.
Safety Compliance & Physical Stamina: Strict adherence to OSHA safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment guidelines; the capacity to lift large objects, scale ladders, and operate in confined areas or high places.
