Head Production Engineer for Supply Management
Job Description
Who you are:
Oversee daily production activities on the shop floor, keeping an eye on assembly lines and machine layout streams to ensure that desired output levels are met safely and on time. Examine production workstations to identify line bottlenecks. To improve overall operational flow, optimise cycle parameters, machine takt times, and labour arrangements. Manage tooling configurations and product changes, utilising Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) approaches to improve multi-product runtime flexibility and reduce machine downtime. Make that personnel follow the proper PPE and equipment handling guidelines by enforcing strict adherence to engineering drawings, plant safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). To reduce waste and unit production costs, conduct frequent 5S workplace cleanings, value stream inspections, Kaizen tracks, and continuous improvement cycles.
