Sociology Optional preparation involves understanding theories, thinkers, concepts, and their relevance to questions asked in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Along with studying the subject, candidates need to practise using their knowledge in written answers. IAS Gurukul offers a Sociology Optional Test Series for 70 Days for aspirants who want to make test practice a focused part of their Mains preparation.

The programme is offered under the guidance of Pranay Aggarwal Sir. Its 70-day format provides a defined period for candidates to concentrate on practising Sociology Optional questions and reviewing their preparation.

Through regular practice, aspirants can work on presenting ideas in a logical sequence, identifying the most relevant points, and making their answers more focused. Test practice may also help students recognise gaps in their understanding and decide which topics require further revision.
