Composition:
oFibroadenoma: A solid, firm, rubbery tumor.
oCyst: A smooth, round or oval sac filled with fluid.

oFibroadenoma: Most frequent in younger women and teens aged 15 to 35.
oCyst: Most common in women in their 30s, 40s, and approaching menopause

· How They Feel:
Fibroadenoma: Feels smooth, firm, and slides easily under the skin (often called a "breast mouse").
Cyst: Can feel soft or hard (if deep in the tissue) and may become tender or painful right before a menstrual period.
· Diagnosis:
Confirmed using imaging like an ultrasound scan or mammogram, which easily tells liquid apart from solid tissue.
· Treatment:
Fibroadenoma: Often left alone and monitored, or removed if it grows large or causes discomfort.
Cyst: May disappear on its own or can be treated instantly by draining the fluid with a fine needle.
