Job Description
Our industrial operations' main "Installation Integrity Anchor" and "Regulatory Compliance Guardian" is the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector. Your main responsibility is to audit, examine, verify, and certify every electrical loop, instrument installation, cabling network, and control system throughout the facility, while engineers create system logic and maintenance specialists concentrate on resolving common hardware malfunctions. This includes carrying out exact pre-commissioning loop checks, examining machinery in dangerous locations, comparing actual installation to engineering drawings, monitoring material certifications, and directing remedial measures for quality deviations.

Responsibilities:
Examine current physical installations of electrical panels, transformers, cable trays, conduits, field transmitters, control valves, and analytical systems to make sure they fully adhere to master engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and engineering alignment.
Loop Testing & Pre-Commissioning Witnessing: Verify signal propagation from field devices to the control room interfaces by conducting and observing thorough cold and hot loop checking processes.
Hazardous Area (Ex) Inspection & Auditing: Verify explosive-proof seals, flameproof enclosures, and intrinsically safe barriers by conducting thorough visual, near, and detailed inspections of all electrical and instrumentation devices installed in classified explosive zones.
Receiving audits and material quality control: Examine incoming E&I hardware and materials, checking calibration certifications, protection ratings, factory acceptance test documents, and material test results.

Skills:
The advanced capacity to read, comprehend, and cross-reference complex single-line diagrams, electrical layout blueprints, and instrument hook-up drawings is known as blueprint, P&ID, and loop sheet literacy.
Metrology & Precision Calibration Competency: Complete proficiency in the safe use of electrical and instrumentation validation gear, such as insulation testers, digital multimeters, loop calibrators, pressure modules, and HART communicators.
Hazardous Area Classification Codes: Excellent operational knowledge of ATEX/IECEx alignment codes, explosion protection principles, and worldwide explosive atmosphere installation regulations.
Knowledge about Quality Management Architecture Strong knowledge of non-conformance tracking pipelines, inspection and test plans, industrial quality control procedures, and structural root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why)
