Planning a trip to Dubai from Ukraine? Ukrainian passport holders should confirm the entry rules for their passport before booking flights or a hotel. Visa rules can change, and the status the UAE lists for Ukrainian passports decides what you need.

Before you travel, check:

The current entry status for Ukrainian passports, as listed by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Your passport validity. Many travellers are asked for at least six months, so check this early. (Unverified, so confirm it with the official source.)
Your return or onward ticket and your hotel booking.
Proof of funds for your stay, in case you are asked for it.

Documents usually needed for an application:

A passport scan with a clear photo page
A recent passport-size photo with a white background
Your travel dates and accommodation details
Any extra document requested for your case

How to apply:

Choose the visa type that fits your plans, single-entry or multiple-entry.
Enter your details exactly as they appear on your passport.
Upload your documents and submit the application.
Wait for the decision, then keep a printed or digital copy of the approved visa with you.

Travel tips for Ukrainian passport holders:

Apply early. Processing times vary, and peak seasons can be busy.
Check your name spelling and passport number before you submit. Match the Latin spelling to the passport’s machine-readable line.
Many Ukrainians now live in or travel from other countries, such as Poland, Germany or Turkey. Check your airline’s document requirements and any transit rules for the airport you actually depart from.
Keep your hotel and return flight details handy for the airport.
