What Are Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP)?

What Are Fire-Retardant ACP Sheets (FR ACP)?
Fire-Retardant ACP Sheets are specifically designed to resist ignition and slow down the spread of fire. These panels have a fire-retardant core, typically made from mineral-filled materials like magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide, which do not catch fire easily.
They are manufactured under strict quality standards and comply with global fire safety norms like:
A2 Grade: Non-combustible core
B1 Grade: Limited combustibility

What Are Normal ACP Sheets?
Normal ACP Sheets, also referred to as Non-FR ACP, contain a core made of polyethylene (PE) — a material known for its high flammability. These are cost-effective and commonly used in low-risk environments like small commercial shops, signage, or residential interiors.
However, due to their flammable core, they are not recommended for high-rise buildings or fire-prone zones.
