Darshan Hiranandani, aged 36, is the son of renowned property tycoon Niranjan Hiranandani and has been appointed as the successor to lead the multi-billion dollar Hiranandani Group's real estate empire. With a master's degree in entrepreneurship and finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Darshan already heads the group's real estate business in Dubai as well as its energy venture H-Energy. He has now taken over as the Group CEO. Darshan is being groomed by his father to eventually take full charge of the group's vast operations spanning residential, commercial, warehousing and other segments across India. His latest responsibility is spearheading the group's ambitious foray into the data center parks business through the newly launched Yotta Infrastructure arm, which aims to offer cost-effective hyper-density data storage solutions to major global and domestic companies.
