Responsibilities:
Component-Level Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: To identify circuit defects down to the particular resistor, diode, capacitor, or microchip, perform accurate diagnostics utilising specialised bench instruments.
Precision Bench Assembly & Solder Rework: Using cutting-edge micro-soldering stations to precisely handle high-density surface-mount devices and through-hole elements, assemble prototype circuits and carry out alterations on multi-layer.
Calibration and System Alignment: Set up, align, and calibrate temperature sensors, pressure transducers, optical scanners, input/output cards, and sensitive industrial automation modules to standard working ranges.
Construction of Test Fixtures and QA Assistance: To support large-scale product validation runs, create and maintain specialised test jigs and automated assessment panels based on engineering schematics.
Preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment: Perform routine diagnostic procedures on vital electronic equipment, evaluating component ageing data, running software upgrades, and documenting validation outcomes.
Required Skills:
Interpretation of Schematics and Wiring Diagrams: Outstanding ability to understand and trace complex wiring charts, block layout diagrams, component pinout definitions, and electronics schematics.
Precision Soldering & Rework Mastery: Extensive practical knowledge of IPC workmanship standards, hot-air component removals, trace repair techniques, and high-density soldering techniques.
Bench Testing Hardware Competency: Master the safe use of common workshop diagnostic tools, such as isolation transformers, function generators, DC bench power supply, and multi-meters.
ESD Safety Controls & Lab Standards: A thorough operational grasp of component shielding wraps, grounding wrist-strap procedures, electro-static discharge protection regulations, and clean lab procedures.
