CBSE’s Composite Skill Lab mandate goes beyond installing equipment. Schools need suitable space, practical skill areas, trained teachers and a structured timetable for meaningful implementation. Existing CBSE-affiliated schools have until August 22, 2027, to establish the lab. Early planning can help schools avoid last-minute infrastructure, procurement and training challenges.
