Cartridge Element

A cartridge element is a replaceable filter element housed inside a cartridge. It typically consists of the following parts:
* **Filter Media:** This media, such as rolled or pleated filter paper, synthetic fibers, or metal mesh, is used to capture suspended particles, grease, or other contaminants.
* **Support Structure:** This includes support plates, end caps, or reinforcing materials (such as resin tubes or rods) to maintain the shape of the filter media and withstand operating pressure.
* **Seals:** End caps or gaskets ensure an airtight or liquid-tight seal between the cartridge and the cartridge housing.

Cart element designs can accommodate either outside-in or inside-out fluid flow. Common technical parameters include dust holding capacity (DHC), collapse rating, and operating temperature range. It is widely used in water treatment, air purification, oil-gas separation, and industrial production as a disposable or regenerable filtration unit.
