Regarding AEO vs C-TPAT for exporters, it is evident that in the future, the two programs are likely to converge. The WCO is seeking harmony of the various trusted trader programs globally. There has been much collaboration between the C-TPAT and the AEO-certified bodies in their respective countries. That makes investment in AEO today equivalent to investment in C-TPAT in future US trade.
