The Brahmatal trek is a wonderful and peaceful trek in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand passing through the evergreen oak and rhododendron forests and open meadows, and experiencing the beautiful Himalayan scenery. The hike leads to the serene Brahmatal lake with the view of the surrounding Garhwal Himalayas being pleasant. Beautiful snow on the trail in winter and with colourful forests, clearer sky in Autumn. The hike is fairly scenic, keeping you in the woods, offers some gradual climbs but never rushes you to the next destination, and takes you to some fairly high elevations. It is a trail for the hiker who wants to enjoy a few days of hiking in the mountains, outdoors and the serenity of the Uttarakhand hills.
