This expert-level course is an accredited advanced course in knee physiotherapy and rehabilitation. It covers everything from acute knee injuries; post-operative recovery; rehab following and athletic injury and recovery; and chronic knee injuries (OA and PFPS). It is for physiotherapists and sports rehabilitation specialists who want to learn how to become advanced in the management of the knee.
Course modules will include detailed anatomy of the knee; differential diagnosis of the knee; an introduction to manual therapy; introduction to exercise therapy; return to play protocols; and developing evidence-based rehabilitation plans for all types of knee injuries. The assignments will be interactive and practical sessions will allow students to learn how to apply the knowledge in practice. By the end of the course, each participant will be able to provide specialized advanced knee rehabilitation.
