Negombo is one of the famous cities in the West Coast of Sri Lanka and is under the Western province And has a population of around 150,000 which makes it one of the largest cities in Sri Lanka. Negombo comes under the Gampaha district and is the major commercial hub in the country as well as the administrative Centre for the Negombo division.
