Tata Nexon Latest Update
Available with both, petrol and diesel powertrains, the Tata Nexon has been India’s best-selling SUV for two years in a row; no mean feat considering that it has the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue and the Kia Sonet as rivals. Unlike many of its rivals, it has always delivered more cars for relatively less money.

Tata Nexon exterior design
The bonnet is placed high up and the tall ridges on either side make it look bigger. On the bonnet sit the new Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) and lower down sit the main projector headlamps and fog lights.
Tata Nexon interior and features
The dash has a clean design with layers and straight lines. The Tata Nexon has seats up front that are sufficiently large and get good bolstering while rear seat comfort and space are very impressive so you can seat three in relative comfort. Tata’s new steering wheel has a logo on it that is illuminated.
Tata Nexon mileage, engine and performance
Tata’s three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine makes 120hp and is available with a 5 or 6-speed manual gearbox, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic. There is some small amount of vibration from the engine off idle and a hint of judder at low revs.
Tata Nexon ride and handling
There’s a hint of stiffness when it comes to low-speed ride due to the setup and tall springs, but go faster and the ride immediately smoothes out. Body control and bump absorption over really bad sections is impressive.
Tata Nexon price and verdict
Tata Nexon ranges from Rs 8.10 lakh-15.50 lakh, Tata’s segment leader is fresh on the outside and what is likely to appeal to buyers is the more upmarket cabin.
