The Assistant Reservations Manager is a sales-oriented position accountable for helping lead the reservations team/call center while successfully assisting them to achieve optimum performance levels and thus generating revenue.
Know existing reservation process.
Comprehend and apply booking criteria.
Review and enforce Quality Control.
Prepare and keep a reservation manual updated and available to the proper personnel.
Have the ability to perform all aspects of daily Reservations operations and cover as required.
Make sure all communication including e-mail and telephone correspondence reinforce Southern’s brand and vision.
Verify all leads are worked properly, followed up on and completed in a timely manner.
Keep an eye on calls for quality and consistency, scoring no less than ten calls per agent per month.
Inspire team to satisfy sales goals.
Continually investigate new sales methods and opportunities.
Stimulate department sales of Travel Insurance, Early/Late Check-ins and more as developed.
