I found this to be the most entertaining channel. The instance or raid channels are funny, but this one always makes me laugh." My hypothesis is that the game automatically joins the local defense channel for each zone, regardless its content or name. This is much easier to program than a variety of zones based on the faction that receive defense channels. K.I.S.S. There's no definitive answer but. This is the personal opinion of someone who has coded quite a bit. Hawkawkari asked... "How many servers makeup a realm?" We aren't sure. There's speculation that each continent has its own server, and that the instances divide up onto a few servers too. Even if that's the case, a "server" is most likely an array of numerous individual computers working together. Datchley's Blog It's important to remember that until Blizzard releases a rundown of how WoW is managed server-side, everything is just speculation. AT&T and Blizzard keep their server farm technology firmly in their hands. We probably won't see a real detailed release of server information for many decades, and even then it'll be in a book like "My Life: Ghostcrawler." Cetha asked... "Wondering about the changes to Wintergrasp Has there been any information regarding what will be the fate of Wintergrasp's dialy for fishing?" It seems like having a lot of people waiting in line to fish is a bad idea." If the Wintergrasp battle hasn't begun simply fish every day. 5318008 asked... "Why do we have to pay a fee when we respec to the trainer? What is the rationale for tying a cost to respeccing, regardless of how often?" Every action has a corresponding and opposing reaction. This is the case in the real world, and it holds true in computer games. Do you want to change your spec? Datchley is blogging You'd like to respec? Do you want to change your life vocation and become a writer for WoW.com? Okay, you'll need to attend college and write a lot, and give up the cost of education during the process.
