What is the Difference between Big Data and Hadoop?
Ans. Big Data is an umbrella term used for a set of technologies to handle Big Data. Hadoop is a Big Data tool (or software). It can be understood with the E-Commerce and PHP analogy. While E-Commerce is a technology, it can be implemented in PHP or other languages.
Can we query the files on Hadoop similar to how we query a RDBMS table?
