The custom design, worn by GC911, goes the rare route of looking to a contemporary model for inspiration in the Air Jordan XX9. The Jordan Futures borrow the jumbo-Jimpman version of the New Jordans and even attempt to bring over the elephant print that’s mixed into the woven upper. The result hints at the possibilities of a more graphic direction for the Jordan Future, a shoe that has steered clear of any overt branding or patterning. Unfortunately, Jordan Brand’s 2015 plans for the Jordan Future that have leaked don’t reflect such a direction for the retail releases.
