Gulabi Kantha is a beautiful Himalayan summit that offers breathtaking views of deep valleys, lush bugyals (meadows), and snow-covered Himalayan peaks. It’s located in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand, India. Beginning from the basecamp at Hanuman Chatti, the trek passes through Nishni, a small Garhwali hamlet, then continues to Kandola campsite, Seema Thatch, and Jhandi Point. Additionally, the Hanuman Chatti is the same point from where the famous pilgrimage, Yamunotri Dham is only 14 km away. In short, the region in the close vicinity of the Gulabi Kantha trek is known as Yamuna Valley.
