Description
Metal is transformed from solid to molten by die casting. The melt is injected into a mold, which is made up of two sections that are joined together with a hydraulic press, just like the majority of molding procedures. Depending on the product, the metal is either heated or cooled as it flows into the cavity between the two sections.
