Description: Immediate Opening For Maintenance Engineer in Chennai Job Description : Job Overview: We are hiring a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the smooth functioning and upkeep of machinery in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reducing machine downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment. Position: Maintenance Engineer – Machinery Location: Chennai Industry: Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering Experience: Fresher up to 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong exposure to machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown prevention Key Responsibilities Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance of machines Troubleshoot and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance activities accordingly Maintain equipment history, service reports, and spare part records Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Supervise maintenance technicians and external service vendors Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Hands-on experience with machines like CNC, injection molding, conveyors, motors, etc. Experience using maintenance management software (CMMS) is a plus Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure Good communication and leadership skills Working Schedule Working Days: Monday to Saturday Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM Salary ₹35,000 – ₹65,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & skill level) Overtime & performance bonuses may apply Regards, Sofia HR, 8220184451
