Trekking to the Valley of Flowers Trek is classified as moderate and hence can be undertaken by beginners as well as experienced trekkers. The route comprises a gradual climb, with the highest point being reached at an elevation of 3,600 meters above sea level. It commences with a trek hauling a distance of 13 kilometers from Govindghat to Ghangaria and a 3 Kilometer long trek to the valley. Although the terrain is not exceedingly difficult, trekkers should be ready for weather that can be changeable and can involve rain or cool temperatures.
