Nickel 200 Coil Wire is a Nickel based alloy containing 47.5 % Nickel, 22 % Chromium and 18.5 % Iron, with small amounts of Cobalt, Molybdenum and Tungsten. All hot – or cold – worked parts of Nickel 200 Wire should be annealed and rapidly cooled in order to restore the best balance of properties. Carbide tools in Nickel 200 Wire should have smaller angles than high – speed tools and operating speeds can be higher. After 100 hours in petroleum coke, Nickel 200 is completely penetrated by carburization; whereas its specimens showed no carburization at all.
