Description
Rural livelihood is an important aspect of the holistic growth of a nation GDP. The rural population covers a large segment of the entire population. National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) is a program that ims to create effective and efficient platforms for poor people. It was launched by the Ministry of Rural development (MoRD), Government of India in June 2011. HCL Samuday is one such program which works towards uplifting rural India. Established in 2015, the program intends to develop a sustainable model for economic and social development. The key themes concentrate on working with marginal households and help them create alternative sources of income.
