MRI Cinema for Healthcare is a video that can be played while waiting in a medical office. This video can also be used in conjunction with other educational resources to help patients understand the images of their medical history, such as X-rays and CT scans. These images are used to determine a patient's current condition and to determine if any potential problems or disorders will exist down the road.
MRI cinema is a five to ten minute video that provides patients with an overview of what is being performed during the x-ray and CT scan. In addition, the video will show pictures of other organs or areas of the body that may be affected by the procedure. When a patient is asked to take part in the video, he or she will be given an option to play it again or watch it again once the questions have been answered.
The video is made using theatre technology that helps the video to mimic the experience of being in a doctor's office. The video has a movie theater feel to it, complete with the bright colors and warm music that are used in most movies. A patient is able to feel like they are sitting in the doctor's office watching the video rather than being in it. In addition, the audio and visual components have been enhanced to make the experience more realistic.
