In modern times,the application of castings is involved in the hardware and electronics industry.With the improvement of casting technology,the types of castings are adding for different fields,such as impeller casting,motor casting,mahcine tool casting,electrical casting,automotive castings,and construction machinery castings,etc..

Casting with high dimensional accuracy,surface quality, etc.,is a less widely used,no cutting of advanced technology,it simply is to use fusible fusible material model, using a large number of investment casting method thriftiness machine tools and machining time,but also significant savings metal raw materials. Therefore,the field of investment casting in the casting is a widely used method of casting,casting this way effectively reduces the cost and improve the competitiveness of enterprises casting.Casting is the most important step is casted,then what are common casting casting methods?

1.crystallized under pressure

The shell on the pressure tank for casting,immediately after the end closure of the pressure tank to the tank through the high-pressure air or inert gas into the casting solidification under pressure to increase the density of the casting.

2.vacuum suction casting

The casting in a vacuum tank shell,the shell through the tiny pores of the gas sucked in the cavity,the liquid metal filling the cavity better,copy the shape of the cavity,to improve precision casting to prevent porosity, water lack of defects.This method is more common abroad.

3.directional crystallization

Some castings such as turbine blades, magnet,etc.,if they are at a certain crystal structure is arranged in the direction of columnar grains,their performance can be improved a lot,so directionally solidified casting techniques are rapidly be developed.

4.heat and gravity casting

This is the most widely used form of a casting,the shell is removed from the roaster after the high temperature casting.In this case the metal shell is cooled slowly,in a case of high mobility filling the mold,so the casting cavity can replicate the shape of the well,to improve the accuracy of the casting.But the casting in the heat and slow cooling causes coarse grains,which reduces the mechanical properties of castings.When casting steel in the casting,the casting surface is also a slow cooling oxidation and decarbonization easily,thereby reducing the casting surface hardness,finish and dimensional accuracy.

Casting casting is a strict procedure,different casting methods have different characteristics,so the investment casting process to select the appropriate method of casting,casting out a good melt.
