"Carolina Turf and Mosquito is a locally owned, family run lawn care and mosquito control company serving Charlotte, NC and the surrounding towns. Owner Matthew Day studied Turf Grass Management at North Carolina State University and founded the company in 2015 after years leading landscaping operations across the region. He is involved in the work directly, which is why his name comes up so often in customer reviews. The service list is deliberately short. We treat lawns and we treat mosquitoes. That means fertilization timed to your grass type, pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control through the season, core aeration and autumn overseeding, soil testing so the plan is built on evidence, lawn renovation for lawns past the point of maintenance, and mosquito control from March through October. Full turf management puts all of it on one calendar. We do not mow, landscape, install irrigation, prune trees or lay hardscaping. Plenty of good Charlotte companies do those things and we would rather refer you than pretend to be a full service yard company.
