IIM Visakhapatnam is a member of the esteemed IIM network of business universities. It is a relatively new IIM, having been founded in September 2015 by the Indian government. The Indian Institutes of Management Act of 2017 states that IIMs are important national organizations that have the power to advance management, management research, and related disciplines of study to a global level.
