We have doctors on our panel who are specialized in general surgery, oncosurgery, urosurgery, plastic surgery. They are readily available for appointments and emergency surgeries. We have three operation theatres in our hospital customized for different types of surgeries. General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. These specialists primarily diagnose and treat GI diseases in both men and women. They perform endoscopic procedures, in which they use specialized instruments to view the GI tract and make a diagnosis. They don’t perform surgery. In some cases, they may work closely with a GI surgeon.
