Buddhism is an Indian religion comprises of various traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices based on speeches given by Lord Buddha, founder of Buddhism. Two branches of Buddhism are Theravada- the School of the Elders and Mahayana- the Great Vehicle. Buddhism is a world religion.

Day 01 Delhi: Welcome on arrival at Delhi and transfer to hotel.

Day 02 Delhi: After breakfast proceed to city tour of capital territory Delhi to explore superb Red Fort, Rajghat, Humanyun Tomb, Akshardham Temple, India Gate, Birla Mandir and Bahai Temple.

Day 03 Delhi - Patna: Early morning breakfast and transfer to airport to board flight Patna, 2500 year old ancient city. Arrival in Patna and transfer to accommodation. Afternoon excursion to Vaishali, a place where Lord Buddha deliver his last sermon. Visit Ashoka pillar built by great emperor Ashoka.

Day 04 Patna - Rajgir: Take breakfast and drive to Rajgir, ancient capital city of Magadha Empire during 6th century. Lord Buddha spent many years in Rajgir. Drive to excursion of Gridhrakula, Sapataparni cave, Ajatsatru fort, Venuvana and Nalanda University.

Day 05 Rajgir - Bodhgaya: Early morning breakfast and proceed to Bodhgaya by road. Explore Baraliar caves, a rock cut caves during road journey.

Day 06 Bodhgaya: City tour of Bodhgaya, a place where Buddha got enlightenment under a tree, known as Bodhi tree. Bodhgaya is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations in Buddhism. See Mahabodhi Vihar, a UNESCO world heritage sites.

Day 07 Bodhgaya - Varanasi: Early morning proceed to Varanasi. Take panoramic view of Gange Arti darshan in evening at bank of holy river Gange.

Day 08 Varanasi - Sarnath: Take amusement of boat ride in early morning at river Ganges to explore delightful sunrise at Ganges. After breakfast proceed to excursion of Sarnath, a place where Lord Buddha deliver his first sermon after enlightenment. Also visit Dhamekh and Dharmarajika stupas.

Day 09 Varanasi - Kushinagar: Afternoon proceed to Kushinagar, place of Buddha’s Parinirvana. Visit Ramabha stupa which stands on the spot where the body of the Lord was cremated. Also visit Natha Kumarka Kot enshrining the large recumbent figure of Buddha in the state of Nirvana.

Day 10 Kushinagar - Lumbini- Sravasti: Morning excursion to Lumbini, place where Buddha was born. Kushinagar, also known as Kusinagar or Kusinara is an International Buddhist Pilgrimage Centre. Visit Parinirvana Stupa, Nirvana Chaitya, Ramabhar Stupa, Matha Kuar Shrine in Kushinagar. Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal where Siddhartha Gautama was born in 563 BCE. Explore Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar and Buddhist Monastery in Lumbini. Afternoon drive to Balrampur and en-route visit Sravasti where Lord Buddha had spent 24 Chaturmases.

Day 11 Balrampur - Lucknow - Delhi: Drive to Lucknow to catch flight to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to international airport for flight to onward destination.
